Policies and FAQs for Denver's premiere dog boarding (overnight and daycare) facility

Three Important Factors That All Dogs Need On A Daily Basis

  1. Fresh air and supervised play with dogs that have similar play styles or temperament.

  2. Rest time with no interruptions.

  3. Social interaction with other dogs and our loving and attentive staff.

In order to maintain a happy, healthy group of canine visitors at all times, we need your help, too!

  • It’s important for your dog to get to know us and our facility to assure they will be comfortable during their time with us.

Every dog is evaluated based on:

    1. How did they do in group play - Did they play well or was their play too rough?

    2. How did they react to our staff when corrections were given?

    3. Did they show any extreme signs of kennel stress?

    4. Did they exhibit excessive barking during playtime or in their kennel? Please note: quality rest time is critical for ALL of the canine guests in our care.

  • Dogs act more appropriately when they are allowed to burn off excess energy through exercise and plenty of fresh air.

We want everyone to have social interaction with other dogs and humans.  Therefore, our canine guests must be healthy and happy and abide by these guidelines.

    1. Every dog must be able to participate in group play.

    2. Dogs cannot exhibit rough or aggressive behavior.

    3. Dogs must respond to staff corrections.

    4. Dogs cannot exhibit excessive barking or severe kennel anxiety during rest periods.

    1. Dogs that arrive after 9:00 am may have a difficult time becoming part of a play group. Compare it to when a person arrives either early or late at a social function and feels extremely uncomfortable.

    2. Dogs need a lot of exercise to work through their energy before being kenneled for the mid-day break or at night.

    3. Dogs must be checked-in during the morning hours and no later than 9 am.

    4. No discounts are given for afternoon check-ins.

    1. The average dog sleeps 18 hours a day. Dogs get tired and grumpy and are not always good at knowing when to take a break which may lead to over-stimulation and irritability.

    2. We provide 8 hours of supervised play on weekdays and 6 hours on weekends and holidays.

    3. Playtime without a break may lead to aggression or lack of self-monitoring (time-outs).

    4. Canines that are boarding with us are fed during a midday break.

    5. Canines that are spending the day with us can receive a snack during the midday break provided by you.

    1. Once our canine guests are in their kennels resting, it is very disruptive for them when bringing a dog into the facility or checking out of the facility.

    2. They don't know how much time has passed and think it may be time to go outside.

    3. When dogs get quality and uninterrupted rest, oftentimes the dog is ready for a fun afternoon of group play and can be much more tolerant of other canine guests.

    1. Our building is equipped with security and fire alarm sprinkler systems.

    2. Canine owners can be assured that the building is monitored at all times.

    3. Dogs can sense when staff is onsite and will not rest properly.  This can result in the dog becoming tired and stressed.

Based on our experience over the last ten years, our policies have been developed to make your dog’s visit more enjoyable and less stressful. Please contact us if you need any additional information!
