Our Philosophy
We believe that it is critical to find a balance between socialization, exercise, and play time for dogs of all ages. Everyone that visits must be able to get along with other dogs so they are able to participate in our social program. We are not able to provide services to those who cannot play nicely or those that play too "ruff.”
Our Location
Our dog boarding facility is ON THE WAY TO DIA, only four blocks off of I-70 with easy access at Exit 277. Our Stapleton/Park Hill location is only twenty minutes from DIA (Denver International Airport), a quick ten minutes from Downtown and Cherry Creek and nearby the entire metro Denver area and the Front Range.
Overnight Boarding
Starting at $59 per night
Includes daycare at no extra charge so they are able to participate in our exercise, playtime, and social program. Boarding generally runs from morning drop off to morning pick up.
Boarding dogs who are picked up in the afternoon will be charged one day of daycare at $40. Boarding dogs from the same family sharing one kennel receive a discount.
Daycare
Starting at $34 per day
Your pup gets to participate in our exercise, playtime, and social program. Daycare generally runs from morning drop off to afternoon pickup.
A note about puppies: Puppies need to learn how to play properly and become socialized with other puppies and young dogs at a very early age from about 12 weeks of age. We will introduce your puppy to other dogs a few at a time until they are comfortable being in with all the dogs of their size or temperament.
Requirements to Register
Your dog must be neutered or spayed by six months of age and must be vaccinated for Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella.
To get started with the registration process, please complete both of our forms and email to info@playfulpoochusa.com with proof of current vaccinations as required on our application.
All new daycare dogs must come in for a full evaluation day. Dogs that will be boarding are required to come in for two full days of evaluation prior to the boarding date.

“Playful Pooch is hands down the best daycare and boarding facility I’ve taken my dog to in the Denver area. First, they always greet by dog by his name and make sure to review his needs with me (food, medication, etc.) before taking him back. My dog is very fearful and, at other boarding facilities we had taken him to, he would start shaking when we pulled up, refused to go in, and tried to run back to the car. At Playful Pooch, he walks in happily with his tail wagging and doesn’t even look back at me. The facility has cameras you can access to check in on your dog during business hours. And (my favorite part) they post adorable pictures of your dog on Instagram. Could not recommend this place enough!”
