Char
Char is an adorable German Shepherd puppy who is almost four months old. He is very playful but well behaved and plays hard until he drops...then he sleeps like a baby until his batteries have been recharged and he's ready to go again. He is a perfect example of the benefit of socializing your puppies in a structured setting so they can learn how to play properly with other young dogs. He is a joy to watch play (and sleep!)

Playful Pooch offers doggie daycare, spacious overnight dog boarding kennels and grooming for our guests and visitors. We have over 7,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor dog daycare play areas. Big and little pooches each have their own play areas making Playful Pooch Denver's best dog daycare. Social dogs of all ages are welcome at The Pooch, from puppies through senior citizens, but must be spayed or neutered after the age of six months. All dogs must have all of the required vaccinations. Each of them will

Our Location is just 4 blocks south of I-70 on Holly Street at Exit 277, making it the most convenient place for dog boarding in Denver when you are on the way to DIA (Denver International Airport). Our family owned and operated business serves the Stapleton, Park Hill and Lowry communities and is only ten minutes from Downtown and Cherry Creek. Playful Pooch is also conveniently located for the entire metro Denver area and the Front Range. We are RIGHT ON THE WAY TO DIA!
Our Philosophy is to provide a relaxing and nurturing experience, that includes supervised socialization in a safe, clean and fun environment, nutritional recommendations, comfortable and private oversized kennels with beds and soothing music at night, and lots of personal love and attention from our experienced, caring and certified Pet Care Technicians. As owners, we are involved in overseeing the operations of our business on a daily basis so we can develop a personal relationship with each of our pooches and their owners and we welcome any of your questions or suggestions.
Our Goal is to provide a social setting where your dog can play with other dogs throughout the day in a play group environment. We suggest that all dogs be socialized and able to participate in group play. All of our pals participate in daycare, and are not left in their kennels other than for lunch and at night. For our new boarding customers, we require a day of daycare to properly assess his or her compatibility to our socialization process. This will also make them feel right at home when they return for their first boarding stay. New daycare visitors will be evaluated during their initial day.
Puppy Kindergarten is a special daycare that involves socialization at a very early age with other puppies and some of our older, gentler dogs while working on basic developmental skills such as potty training. We also offer FREE puppy playtime on Saturday mornings from 10-11 am in addition to several pupply training classes that start every other week. The most critical time to start the training of a puppy is between 6-16 weeks of age, so we have developed both the Puppy Kindergarten daycare and a special Puppy Pre-K Class to help develop your Puppy into a Phenomenal Pooch!
PETucation Classes start every few weeks and are semi-private groups of no more than five dogs. Available during the weekday evenings and also on the weekends, we provide behavior modification and positive reinforcement techniques. We also have a PETucation 101 class the first Thursday evening of every month where we discuss a wide range of pooch topics that help inform and may even surprise you! High Quality Food and Treats are now sold at The Pooch. We offer a wide range of dry and fresh food, treats and Walk-e-Woo collars and leashes. Some of our foods include Taste of the Wild, Diamond Natural and Fresh Deli. Check out our Food and Treats section for more information.

Relocation Services are offered to assist our customers who are moving to and from Denver. We can coordinate your pooch's arrival or departure from Denver International Airport (DIA) and will provide a comfortable and caring temporary home so that you don't have to worry about your best friend during that stressful transition period.
Boarding Rates are $36 per day and include daycare at no extra charge, a $25 value! A second dog will receive a 25% discount if sharing the same kennel with a sibling.
Daycare Rates are $25 for a single day and we now offer an unlimited monthly package for weekdays for only $320 per month, or $15 per day. Our anytime packages can be used 7 days a week for as low as $18 per day.
Hours
MONDAY - FRIDAY 7-11 am and 1:30-6pm
WEEKENDS 7:30-10 am and 3-5 pm
HOLIDAYS - No pick up's or drop off's may be scheduled on major holidays. A minimum stay may be required. Please call for further information regarding holiday scheduling.
Boarding drop-offs MUST be scheduled at least 1 hour before morning and afternoon closing times to allow your pooch some playtime. Check out time is 10 am daily, but if you want to check out later, STAY AND PLAY for only the cost of daycare!
