Liffey
Liffey is a one-year old Golden Retriever that has a boyfriend named Henry. She follows him around like a love-struck teenager and Henry patiently accepts this adoration! Liffey was born blind but does extremely well in playtime. Her other senses guide her through the playground and she's never at a loss for friends to play with...especially if Henry is around!

Playful Pooch offers doggie daycare, spacious overnight dog boarding kennels and grooming for our guests and visitors. We have over 7,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor dog daycare play areas. Big and little pooches each have their own play areas making Playful Pooch Denver's best dog daycare. Social dogs of all ages are welcome at The Pooch, from four months of age through senior citizens, but must be spayed or neutered and have all of the required vaccinations. Each of them will
receive the individual care and attention that they get at home. Here at The Pooch, we love your dogs like one of our own!
Our location is just 4 blocks south of I-70 on Holly Street at Exit 277, making it the most convenient place for dog boarding in Denver when you are on the way to DIA (Denver International Airport). Our family owned and operated business is conveniently located near the Stapleton and Park Hill neighborhoods, and only minutes from Lowry, Downtown and Cherry Creek. Playful Pooch also serves the entire metro Denver area and the Front Range. Right on the way to DIA!
Our philosophy is to provide a relaxing and nurturing experience, that includes supervised socialization in a safe, clean and fun environment, nutritional recommendations, comfortable and private oversized kennels with beds and soothing music at night, and lots of personal love and attention from our experienced, caring and certified Pet Care Technicians. As owners, we are involved in overseeing the operations of our business on a daily basis so we can develop a personal relationship with each of our pooches and their owners and we welcome any of your questions or suggestions.
Our goal is to provide a social setting where your dog can play with other dogs throughout the day in a play group environment. We suggest that all dogs be socialized and able to participate in group play. All of our pals participate in daycare, and are not left in their kennels other than for lunch and at night. For our new boarding customers, we require a day of daycare to properly assess his or her compatibility to our socialization process. This will also make them feel right at home when they return for their first boarding stay. New daycare visitors will be evaluated during their initial day.
Relocation Services are offered to assist our customers who are moving to and from Denver. We can coordinate your pooch's arrival or departure from Denver International Airport (DIA) and will provide a comfortable and caring temporary home so that you don't have to worry about your best friend during that stressful transition period.
Grooming is available for our boarding and daycare guests and we welcome visitors as well. See our grooming section for more information.
Boarding Rates are $36 per day and include daycare at no extra charge, a $25 value! A second dog will receive a 25% discount if sharing the same kennel with a sibling.
Daycare Rates are $25 for a single day and we now offer an unlimited monthly package for weekdays for only $320 per month, or $15 per day. Our anytime packages can be used 7 days a week for as low as $18 per day.

MONDAY - FRIDAY 7-11 am and 1:30-6pm
WEEKENDS 7:30-10 am and 3-5 pm
HOLIDAYS - No pick up's or drop off's may be scheduled on major holidays. A minimum stay may be required. Please call for further information regarding holiday scheduling.
Boarding drop-offs MUST be scheduled at least 1 hour before morning and afternoon closing times to allow your pooch some playtime. Check out time is 10 am daily, but if you want to check out later, STAY AND PLAY for only the cost of daycare!
