Char is an adorable German Shepherd puppy who is almost four months old. He is very playful but well behaved and plays hard until he drops...then he sleeps like a baby until his batteries have been recharged and he's ready to go again. He is a perfect example of the benefit of socializing your puppies in a structured setting so they can learn how to play properly with other young dogs. He is a joy to watch play (and sleep!)

As the owners of Playful Pooch, Will and Brenda are committed to providing excellent care and attention to every dog that visits The Pooch.
Having spent over twenty years in banking, Will has been very interested in the pet care industry for many years and has taken several classes in this field through the Pet Care Services Association, formerly known as the American Boarding Kennel Association in Colorado Springs. He is an ABKA Certified Pet Care Technician.
Brenda has been a financial consultant for over 20 years. She works at The Pooch with Will and also provides consulting services to individuals and businesses. Will and Brenda met while attending Southern Illinois University in Carbondale which is home to the Salukis!
Will and Brenda are the owners of two "Pound Puppies", Bristol, a Brittany mix and Mollie, a Tibetan Terrier. Bristol loves being the "Top Dog" at The Pooch while Mollie prefers greeting the customers up front. Their first dog, Willie, lived to be almost 17 years old and it was hard to find places to leave Willie while traveling on vacations. It was this struggle to find a place that would provide the extra attention that Willie needed, that led Will and Brenda to going into the petcare services. Dogs of all ages are welcome at The Pooch, and each of them will receive the individual care and attention that they get at home.
